Scott Hatfield | Press Release on running for State Legislator for the 49th District in Utah.

Monday, January 08, 2024

I, Scott Hatfield, announce my candidacy for Utah House District 49, aspiring to represent the people as a State Legislator. I believe it’s time for a positive change in our district, steering away from incumbent politicians who seem detached from the needs of the community. If entrusted with this responsibility, I commit to promoting bills that align with constitutional principles, avoid expanding government, refrain from imposing new taxes, and prioritize the well-being of both the district and the state of Utah. I pledge to limit my service to five terms, totaling 10 years and will implement a self-term limit before pursuing other offices. I look forward to engaging with delegates and the constituents, aiming to serve with honor, integrity, and honesty.

Thank you,

Scott A Hatfield Jr
